On June 8th, some of our members took a trip up to Connecticut for the ATCA Truck Show. Some members went on Saturday, and some went on Sunday. Our photos start with meeting at the Port Jefferson Ferry:

This Mack from upstate New York had an interesting mascot. A chainsaw carving of a familiar looking Bulldog.
The Mack Restoration Company brought out some goodies.... The owner of this rig told us that Ballentine Ale fitted 50 of these trucks with Chevy Six Engines and Hoods.
Time to go! The drive back to the ferry was the wildest ride of the member's lives! 25 MPH and nobody was passing us!
The end of a white knuckle ride..... There was so much water on Route 8, the ferry could've came up and got us. |
